HG4000 G2

The primary goal of the HG4000 G2 was to separate it visually from the outgoing G1. The shielding on both sides helps it stand out against other American brands while meeting the expectations of EMEA customer sensibilities. The added bonus of the shielding is its ability to shed chips that escape the cutting drum. Previously, chips would have built up on working components that were exposed and caused overheating issues.

I was responsible for the shielding design and decals on this machine. I also worked with the software engineering team and assisted with user interface screens by providing art assets and user experience flows.
